Dear Sir,
This is to inform you that your application for ICSSR Minor Research Project (2021-2022) has been shortlisted by the Expert Committee for next stage of evaluation, i.e. Interaction Meeting with the Expert Committee.
At this stage, researcher will make a presentation through PPT to the expert Panel through Google Meet which would be followed by interaction with the Expert Panel.
You are requested to participate in the Interaction meeting with the Expert Panel scheduled on 16-02-2022 (Wednesday). The interaction will take place between 10.00 am to 5.30 pm through Google Meet in three parallel sessions (first set of scholars in the forenoon and the remaining in the afternoon). The applicant will be contacted half-an-hour before the interaction and the link for the interaction will be sent through email. Please be ready and wait for your turn. Kindly note that change of date and time will not be considered by the ICSSR.
This is further to inform you that for Google Meet you would require Gmail id. If this mail is not through Gmail id then please create one and send us the same at the earliest.

Checklist for Interaction Meeting for Minor Project
Ø Expert Panel may ask you to prove your identity, you are required to keep ID proof handy.
Ø Your PPT should (not more than 4-5 slides) largely covering the research problem, objectives, methodology, importance for society and policy, the novelty of the idea/research, proposed publication plan and expected outcome. This will be followed by detailed discussion on Budget and its justification.
Ø Although you are required to prepare PPT, share it only required by the Committee. You would be basically interacting with the Panel as the given time is only 10 minutes per scholar. Further the proposal is already evaluated by the experts. You are required to sum up the main gist of the study as brief as possible, without missing out important facts, followed by budget justification.
Ø Your presentation has to be very precise. Last slide in your presentation should be on your research/academic experience especially giving details of the research proposal undertaken by you. This will be followed by interaction with the Expert Panel.
Ø Each candidate would get approximately 10 minutes (5 minutes for proposal & interaction and 5 minutes exclusively for budget).
Ø Google Meet application will be used for virtual meeting.
Ø The applicant has to operate the PPT from his/her end using screen sharing feature.
Ø Please use Desktop/Laptop only good and steady internet connection for the presentation and interaction.
Ø Please be alone at the time of presentation/interaction, except for any technical help.
Ø In case you want your research team to accompany you during the presentation, do let us know.
Ø List is randomly arranged.
Ø Results of Research Projects are expected to be uploaded on ICSSR website before end of March 2022. No queries (telephone, email) will be entertained by the division.
